And then God answered: “Write this. Write what you see. Write it out in big block letters so that it can be read on the run. This vision-message is a witness pointing to what’s coming. It aches for the coming—it can hardly wait! And it doesn’t lie. If it seems slow in coming, wait. It’s on its way. It will come right on time.

Focus on your dreams
The bible provides practical instructions to help you realize your dreams. First, you must gain clarity about your vision. After you articulate your dreams, you can work in cooperation with Holy Spirit to make those dreams a reality.
Spend some time alone with God in worship and prayer. Ask Him about the plans He has for your life. Ask Him to give you clarity about your future.
Next, document your dreams. You can use our vision checklist to help you think through the various aspects of your life. Whatever you do, don’t limit yourself. You serve a big God.
Try not to only think about the superficial aspects of life that shift and change with the seasons. Think about the type of character God wants you to develop and the type of person He wants you to become.
Turn your dreams into plans
Once you are clear about what you want, turn those dreams into actionable goals with a timeline. Write down the steps you need to take to achieve your goals. Do not worry if you don’t know every single detail. Your journey with Christ is anchored in faith. Document the steps you know to take and trust God with the rest.
When you are unsure how to proceed, seek your Heavenly Father in prayer. The Apostle James encourages us,
If you don’t know what you’re doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You’ll get his help, and won’t be condescended to when you ask for it. Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought.

make your goals a priority
The process of reaching your dreams takes place in the context of a larger spiritual battle that’s raging all around you. You’ll face many distractions and temptations that will threaten to discourage you. Stay the course. Make working on your goals a priority in your life. Do something every day to reach your dreams.
Lastly, it’s important to understand that God-given dreams can only be accomplished with the help of Christ. Commit to a daily practice of reading through your goals and humbly asking God for His help in making your dreams a reality.
